In this role, I work as part of a team to develop software using a variety of different languages, frameworks and methodologies. Notable languages used C# and .NET for Business as Usual requirements, Objective-C for secure iPad applications, as well as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS for web development. Several projects have used the MVC framework as a basis, and agile methodologies have been used.

As a Software Engineering Lab Supervisor, my role included communicating with students to assess where they were having difficulty, then assisting them to understand programming concepts and best-practices, as well as how to apply them to their assignments. Usually the programming language was Python or Java, but there were times when I was tutoring other languages also.
